John Michael

I had a great honor of photographing such a handsome senior the other day... John Michael has it all: he's handsome, charming, good to his mother (he did agree to pose for pictures even though that isn't a guy's favorite thing to do) AND he's a great athlete and got a scholarship to college for baseball! We had a lot of fun, especially getting the baseball shots! Thanks, John Michael, for allowing me to photograph you in your 'element'... best of luck to you as you go off to college in the fall!

Share... the workshop!

I am one lucky gal. I had the privilege of attending 'Share... the Workshop' put on by the fabulous and incredibly talented Ashley Warren of Ashley Warren Studios, and Grethel Van Epps of Grethel Van Epps Photography and BOY, oh BOY was it AWESOME!!! I learned so much from these awesome women, as well as the other 11 attendees. We spent an entire day (long, but super fun) talking about everything photography... how to shoot, editing, equipment, marketing and other business-y stuff, and we also did several 'practice' shoots so we could see Ashley and Grethel in action and learn how they 'do' what they do! We had two super sleepy and perfect baby boys with their beautiful mothers (and dad's were there too, we just didn't 'shoot' them).. and then an awesome family with the cutest little brother and sister! I learned SO much from watching Ashley and Grethel work... their styles are so different, yet they are both create such beautiful images. I am so happy I made the decision to invest in something so incredible! Here are a few pictures from the sessions...

molly kate

I had the pleasure of photographing the adorable Molly Kate a few weeks ago... and boy is she a hoot! She is so cute and playful and loves to talk about the special "boys" in her life! She really opened up towards the end of the session and was performing for us on the stage! I just love little girls and had such a great time with Miss Molly Kate!
